DRB - Discrimination, Racism and Bullying

The anti-discrimination team at The Sittingbourne School is made up of staff and student ambassadors. We aim to overcome sexist, racist, homophobic, xenophobic and classist attitudes with an approach which seeks to raise consciousness and develop positive attitudes.

Issues are reported online and the team decides who is best equipped to deal with each individual case.  Students have a very important role to play as they are able to explain and educate very much at the level of other students. They are always supported by staff when addressing a problem that has arisen.   We use a tiered system of education and sanction depending on the severity and recurrence of the discrimination.

If you believe you, or someone you know, has experienced discrimination, racism or bullying please use this form to record the incident(s). Reporting is important because we need to work to eradicate these issues in our school and educate those who do not understand why it is wrong.
