Careers Advice and guidance

Careers, advice and guidance at The Sittingbourne School is personalised and delivered by a team of experienced staff.

The Careers senior leader is Mrs J Noble, Principal of Sixth Form.

Mrs Noble will support all students in Year 11 moving through to Sixth Form by way of individual meetings with students and parents, as well as progression evenings, information assemblies and tutor group visits.

The Careers and HE advisor is Mrs A Seymour, a member of the Sixth Form team.

Mrs Seymour leads on creating and delivering the information and support programme in place from Year 7 through to Year 13.  She is available at all parents evenings for individual, personalised guidance.  Mrs Seymour is also regularly available for students to drop in to the library during lunch or after school.

Mrs Seymour supports all our Sixth Form students moving through the process of selecting and applying for a place in higher and further education, and provides regular workshops and individual meetings to support this progression.
