Operation Encompass

The Sittingbourne School is proud to participate in Operation Encompass, a joint project between schools and Kent Police. 

Operation Encompass is a reporting initiative that ensures schools are notified when a child or young person has experienced domestic abuse. This timely communication allows us to provide immediate and thoughtful support to our students.

When we receive a report, a trained member of staff—known as a Key Adult—is informed. This ensures the school can support the child and their family through any difficulties they may be experiencing.

At The Sittingbourne School, we are committed to offering the best possible care to all our pupils, and we believe this partnership is extremely beneficial for the wellbeing of our school community.
