A level & BTEC Results
The Sittingbourne School Sixth Form students are celebrating today after receiving their A level and BTEC results. Across a wide range of subjects, students have achieved highly, with 40 students achieving at least one A/A* or Distinction/Distinction* alone.
We are incredibly proud of all of our hard working students here at The Sittingbourne School. Despite all the issues placed in their way by COVID, our students have shown fantastic resilience and determination to succeed. These great results mean that our students are able to proceed on to the next steps of their life, with students joining some top universities, starting apprenticeships or taking up exciting employment opportunities. Whatever they are doing, we know that they are going to be very successful. I would also like to thank all the teachers, support staff and parents for their hard work in supporting these students on their successful journeys.
Mr Smith (Headteacher)
I am delighted with our results this summer, which show a reflection of the hard work, determination and resilience of our students in such challenging circumstances. All of our students have received their University places this year, based on their grade outcomes and many are going into employment and apprenticeships to start their careers. We wish them all success and happiness. I also want to thank all our teaching and support staff for all their work and dedication through such extraordinary times over this past 16 months.
Mrs Noble (Principal of Sixth Form)
