Progression Opportunities

The Government state:

“You must remain in school until you are 16 and then do one of the following until you’re 18:

  • stay in full-time education, for example at a sixth form or a college
  • start an apprenticeship or traineeship
  • spend 20 hours or more a week working or volunteering, while in part-time education or training”

Our advice to parents and students is to engage with progression activities and meetings - including your school Sixth Form open evening and college open days.  Listen to advice and guidance offered in assemblies and personal development time and ensure you complete your UCAS application or KentChoices.com process early, once you have been given your password and deadline.
